Are you a natural disaster?
A Tornado?
Perhaps a Hurricane?
Tsunami?
Fire?
Earthquake...
You get the point...
Meaning, have you ever come into someone`s life and completely turned everything upside down? Or vice versa, had someone come into your life, and make you wonder if water`s really wet and the sky is really blue? Make you question everything you were living for, or thought you were living for?
And is it a horrible thing?
Or maybe a good thing?
Can good come out of something so horrific? Or is the devastation too much?
Or...is it just natural??!? And something that just happens?
We can`t stop it, only get stronger from it....right?
And if we don`t learn anything from it, then whose really to blame?
I always wonder about the people who keep rebuilding in Tornado Alley???? I mean, really???
"Hey Bob, that was a big one yesterday."
"Yeah, she was a lot worse than last year`s that destroyed my house, farm, and everything inside."
Ummmm...what?!?!??!
But i`ve met a lot of those people, and they are "good people" and very tight knit family people. Family always comes first.
Anyway...i like to think that some people do come into your life like a raging Tsunami of passion and power, and completely blow you over, wake you up and make you realize that life isn`t life without them.
An example...i fell for this girl in Chicago, she was beautiful. Exotic, smart, and very witty.
I asked her to get a coffee.
She said, "you`re not the type of guy who just gets coffee."
I smiled.
She told me her life was perfect at the moment, and described it in a way that reminded me of a Snowglobe.
She said, "yes...kinda"
But then i said, "isn`t a Snowglobe the prettiest when you turn it upside down and shake it?"
I`ll never forget that smile on her face...
So perhaps it can`t be all that bad...
