It`s that song that you want to be on about your fifth vodka and soda, allowing your mind to get lost in the lyrics. And once you`re down the rabbit hole, turn on Joey and then take it to level eleven with Tomorrow, Wendy...
Stay or Leave, by Dave Matthews: My long lost buddy from Woodbridge, VA, Jason Solomonson turned me onto this song, so unfortunately I think about him everytime I hear this song. Ummm, that`s weird, but cool, as he`s a great guy, and we had some fun back in the day...like 20 years ago! Damn. Plus, it makes me think of all my VA friends...a lot of them that i still am very fond of.
Don`t Give Up, Peter Gabriel: Wow...it just dawned on me that all these songs are a big somber. But now what i need to say about this song is, that the album it`s on...SO, is soooo damn good! F*ck, what a great album. And of course it has In Your Eyes on it, and we all know that song...especially from the movie, Say Anything! One of the best movies ever! And Cusack rocks the house in that movie...when he say`s, "i just want to hang with your daughter" after this famous speech:
“I don’t want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. Coming Back to Life by Pink Floyd. Okay, here`s the thing, I love Pink Floyd...yes, all versions of them. And also, have you ever seen a Floyd Show? Cause that`s what it is! A freaking show!!! Wow...i saw them at ASU, and well...let`s just say i was in the perfect mind set to see them...if i concentrate hard enough, i think i can see tracers...
Anyway, that`s how i`m starting my day...how about all of you? Anything to add?
