A friend sent me this quote this morning, it`s from Pablo Picasso.
I think it`s a brilliant quote, and should be one`s life motto. I`m for sure going to adopt this.
I mean think about it...why shouldn`t it be? Now, I know that some people might take this and run with it, and and come up with some ridiculous things, but at the same time, are they any less real even if they aren`t?
does that make sense?
meaning, if it`s real to you, but no one else, does that make it less real?
haha...anyone know what i`m saying?
i guess, i think about it in regards to a story I was writing about a man who lived his life in his dreams. he was happier there, that was real to him. he didn`t hurt anyone ever, but just wanted to be asleep a majority of his time, as his dreams were his reality.
anyway, that may be stretching it, but let`s take it for face value.
i always imagined that i could write a movie, make a movie....and i`m doing it. it`s hard as hell, and very stressful, but it`s REAL, each and every day.
i also used to imagine that one day i would be able to drive up to Malibu blaring Tears for Fear`s "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" in a convertible Carrera...i did that, many a time.
or that i could own my own business trading stocks...did that.
that one day, i would have serious health problems, that too was a reality.
what i`m saying is, Pablo was right! he was dead on.
focus. power.
the power of visualization.
but you just have to open up your mind.
take care, talk later
