again, it` s been awhile since i wrote...i keep trying to be consistent but life has thrown a few curveballs my way in the past few weeks.
but i`m not alone, and i know that i`m a lot luckier than most.
so anyway...
what`s on the mind today? besides the fact that Eddie Money is seriously talented and that the weather in Vegas at 8:18 in the morning is perfect right now, a couple of things:
1. you can`t run a company just to break even and pay yourself huge wages. ummm...there are investors!
2. home ownership is way over-rated...well not so much anymore, I think more people realize that it`s not the be all end all.
3. dinner at home with friends, over a couple of bottles of wine, is much better than going out and dropping a few benjamins, especially if your friend bottles his own sparkling water. (thanks brad and jen)
4. finding someone that you`re truly compatible with in every way, from the bedroom to the boardroom, makes every day a possibility of great things happening, and memories created.
5. we don`t sit back and notice those who have real courage all the time, because they go by unmentioned...it`s a crime. a lot better role models out there than athletes and celebrities.
6. i got a great message on my wall on Facebook today, from a friend, who reread my book KATKA, and total me again how great it was. that was awesome, thanks Jay.
7. i`m broke right now...but i`ll tell you this...the juice is worth the squeeze!
keep your eyes peeled...shit is happening.
