real courage...that`s what I want to talk about today.
have you ever seen it up close? i mean really seen it? and i`m not talking about watching your favorite football team go for it on fourth down, or driving your BMW 33 more miles when it says that you have only 31 left to go...or having sex for the first time after a heart procedure and wondering if you`re going to have a heart attack.
no...none of that.
i`m talking about watching someone go through something that most people would never be able to do. to continue down a road where the end is unknown, but doing so knowing the journey will be tough, very rocky, and hard not just on them, but a lot of people around.
that`s courage.
and to do it and still be able to smile everyday, is seriously inspiring.
i wish i could share more details but I can`t. yet, all i can say is that...we all go through rough spots in our lives, i`m going through one now, but some go through hell...
and i know this person will come out the other side, stronger than ever. and that to me, is so moving! inspiring and truly uplifting.
just ask yourself what you would do if you had to face something so horrible...would you run and hide or stand up!?
so just remember, everything isn`t always as it seems. be a friend, and be a true friend...go that extra mile. listen, really listen and do what you can, when you can for someone.
the small things go so far. the big things can change lives.
