it`s been awhile since i`ve written...and thank you to all those who asked me why i wasn`t doing it anymore...
so this is for you.
today, i want to talk about how easy it is to quit and give up. it`s too easy. when things get tough, it`s easy to run away or just throw in the towel. the real challenge, the real growth, the real reward comes from sticking! from not giving up and persevering! to have the attitude that you must go on.
right now in my life i`m in the toughest situation i`ve ever been faced with. i`ve been challenged on many fronts and at times it`s seemed as though there is no light at the end of the tunnel. last Friday all i could think about was how was I going to make it to the next day. how i just wanted to see Saturday, and as corny as it sounds, just wanted to see the sun come up.
i made it, and things are better...not great, but better.
yet, i truly realize that sometimes in life you have to fall on your face, go to the lowest of the low, so you can bounce back better than ever. that applies to all aspects of your life...business, love, life...whatever.
but you can`t always do it alone, and it`s times like this that you realize how valuable friends and family are. i have amazing parents and i love them dearly and think there must not be a day that goes by that they don`t feel like they are on a roller coaster....sometimes the ride is great, but get ready for the jerky turns, and loop to loops! because i don`t live my life in the save zone and not take chances. what`s life for? risk nothing, gain nothing.
then there are friends....and i mean the friends that as my buddy said, " everybody wants to ride in the limo with you during the good times, but true friends are there when you have to take the bus." i like the ones that punch the ticket and hop on the bus with me. and a big thanks goes out to a few friends who have really stepped up lately, and have done so unexpectedly....you know who you are.
also actions speak louder than words...and another person has also really helped turn a frown upside down. thank you to you.
anyway...i hope to start writing again on a daily basis and want to thank all of you who actually read this and comment on it to me...
